As I said on my previous post, I want to include illustrations in my Zine. I have no idea what these illustrations will be of yet, but I have researched in to illustrator’s work that I like for technique inspiration.
Here, on the left is the work of Russ Mills… His current work is a clash of styles from classical to pop surrealism, focusing predominantly on the human form by abstracting elements from nature and the animal kingdom. He covers subjects such as superficiality and isolation progressing into more socio-political expressions.
On the right, Brazilian artist Fernanda Guedes has done several magazines and book covers, advertisement campaigns, and editorial illustrations for clients such as Vogue, Veja and Marie Claire.
